Calcium phosphates make up about 95 % of the feed phosphate market. The rest, about 400,000 tonnes a year, is made of products that carry no calcium, or carry something else besides phosphorus: monoammonium phosphate (MAP), monosodium phosphate (MSP) and magnesium phosphate (MgP). Small markets, few suppliers, and buyers who do not change products lightly.
